Primary care, prescription drugs, mental health and substance abuse treatment are now covered
If you have Health First Colorado:
Contact your regional organization.
Your regional organization will hook you up with what’s called a “care coordinator.” This person will be able to help you find a doctor, set up an appointment, find a therapist and/or get you plugged in to other services you may need (drug treatment, specialist care, etc.).
- If you don’t know who your regional organization is, you can call Health First Colorado Enrollment at 303-839-2120 or 1-888-367-6557 (toll free). You can also learn how to change your regional organization or primary care provider.

If you want to find a doctor or mental health provider on your own, you can go to:

Colorado Crisis Services: A toll-free, 24-hour hotline that anyone can call if you or someone you know is experiencing a crisis: 1-844-493-TALK (8255) or text TALK to 38255 to speak to a trained crisis counselor. The Colorado Crisis Services hotline can also connect you with information about crisis walk-in centers, mobile services and respite care if you or someone you know is struggling with a substance use disorder and/or mental health crisis.
